The Warehouse section enables you to request stock relocation, receive into stock, return stock from a user or department, receive the relocated stock, dispatch items, and write off items.
- Navigate to the Inventory & Asset Home page and press Warehouse.
The Warehouse page is displayed.

Request
The Request section allows you to create requests for relocating stock when needed and write off the stock that is not suitable for the location requested or no longer needed.
- On the Warehouse page, press Request.
The Request page is displayed.

How to Request Items for Warehouse
To request items for a warehouse location, follow the steps below.
- On the Request page, press Stock Relocation.
The New Stock Relocation page is displayed.
- Select the department that is requesting the requisition by pressing the down arrow associated with the Department field.
- Select the storage location from where the items need to be relocated by pressing the down arrow corresponding to the From Storage Location field.
- Select the storage destination to where the items need to be relocated by pressing the down arrow corresponding to the To Storage Location field.
- Select the date of delivery from the Requested Delivery Date dropdown calendar.
- Enter the name of the person receiving the items requested in the Deliver To field.
Note
By default, this will be your name which can be changed if needed. - Enter any notes or comments about the requisition in the Comments textbox.
- If you wish to add items from a bundle, select the item bundle from the Select Item Bundle dropdown list.
- Press Add Bundle.
The items from the item bundle are added.
Note
You can change the quantity of the items or add new items. - Press the Add icon to add a new item.
A new row to add the item is displayed.
- Press the down arrow in the Item Name column in the new row.
The Items dropdown list is displayed.
- Check the box against the item you wish to add in the requisition.
Note
Using the quick search field you can narrow down your search results for an item. - Press Pick All Checked Items.
The selected item(s) are added.
- Press Save.
Note
You can directly approve the requisition if you have the permission to do so by pressing Approve or send the requisition for approval from other approvers by pressing Get Approval.The requisition is saved successfully notification is displayed.
Receiving
The Receiving section in the Warehouse allows you to receive items into stock and the requested items via relocation. You can also return the stocks requested from other users as well as from departments if you have the user’s permission to do so.
- On the Warehouse page, press Receiving.
The Receiving page is displayed.

How to Receive Items into Stock
To receive items into storage, follow the steps below.
- On the Receiving page, press Receive into Stock.
The New Stock Receiving page is displayed.
- Select the department for which you are receiving by pressing the down arrow against the Department field.
- Select the location where you wish to stock the items from the Store To Location.
- Enter the name of the person who can be referenced in the Refer To field.
Note
By default, this is your name. You can change the name if you are receiving the stock on behalf of someone else. - Select the date of receiving from the Receiving Date calendar.
Note
By default, it is the current date. - Select the reason for receiving the stock from the Reason dropdown list.
Note
You can add new reasons for receiving the stock by pressing the Add icon against the Reason field.The Add new reason for Receive Into Warehouse dialog is displayed.
- Enter the name for the reason in the Name field and press Add.
Note
You can delete any selected reason that is no longer useful to you by pressing the remove icon against the Reason field.The Remove stock requisition reason dialog is displayed.
- Press Confirm to delete.
- Enter a comment or note for the selected reason in the Reason Comment textbox.
- Enter comments or notes about receiving the stock in the Comments textbox.
- If you wish to add items from a bundle, select the item bundle from the Select Item Bundle dropdown list.
- Press Add Bundle.
The items from the item bundle are added.
- Press the Add icon to add a new item.
A new row to add the item is displayed.
- Press the down arrow in the Item Name column in the new row to add an item.
The Items dropdown list is displayed.
- Check the box against the item you wish to add in the requisition.
Note
Using the quick search field you can narrow down your search results for an item.
- Press Pick All Checked Items.
The selected item(s) are added.
- Enter the Serial Number and select Service Date in the respective columns for the item added. Also, enter any information about the item if required.
Note
The number of serial numbers entered for the item corresponds to the quantity of the item. To add more units of the item, press the Add icon and add the details.A new row to add the serial number and service date for the item is displayed.
- Press Save.
Note
You can directly approve the request if you have the permission to do so by pressing Approve or send the request for approval from other approvers by pressing Get Approval.The requisition is successfully saved notification is displayed.

You can approve the requisition if you have the user’s permission to do so or send the requisition for approval from other approvers.
How to Receive Stock Relocation
To receive items that have been dispatched to the designated location, follow the steps below.
- On the Receiving page, press Receive Stock Relocation.
The Receive Stock Relocations page is displayed.
- Click anywhere in the row of the shipment to receive the items at the location.
Note
You can use the search criteria fields to search for the required stock relocation order. - Enter the number of items to be received in the row of each item.
- Press Receive Items.
The Shipment has been saved notification is displayed and the items are received.
How to Return Stock from Users
You can return items that you have received for various reasons such as malfunction, expiration, discharge, etc. To return items that you have received, follow the steps below.
- On the Receiving page, press Return From User.
The New Return From User page is displayed.
- Select the user for whom the requisition for return is by pressing the down arrow adjacent to the Return From User field.
Note
By default, your name will be displayed here which can be changed.Note that based on the user selected, the Department field is auto-populated with the corresponding user department.
- Select the location for the return by pressing the down arrow adjacent to the Return To Location field.
- Select the date of return from the Return Date dropdown calendar.
- Select the reason for the return of the items from the Reason dropdown list.
Note
You can add new reasons for returning the items by pressing the Add icon against the Reason field.The Add new reason for Personal Return requisition dialog is displayed.
- Enter the name for the reason in the Name field and press Add.
Note
You can delete any selected reason that is no longer useful to you by pressing the remove icon against the Reason field.The Remove stock requisition reason dialog is displayed.
- Press Confirm to delete the reason.
- Enter the name of the person initiating the return action in the Actioned By field.
- Enter a comment or note for the selected reason in the Reason Comment textbox.
- Enter comments or notes about receiving the stock in the Comments textbox.
- Press the down arrow in the Serial Number column to add an item received.
The dropdown list is displayed.
- Check the box(es) against the item(s) you wish to return.
- Press Pick All Checked Items.
The selected items are added to the return list.
- Press Approve, Get Approval, or Save based on the action you wish to perform.
Note
You can approve the stock return if you have the user permission to do so or request approval of the stock return from other approvers if you do not have permission to approve stock return.The success notification is displayed based on the action performed.
How to Return Stock from Department
To return stock for various reasons on behalf of a department, follow the steps below.
- On the Receiving page, press Return From Department.
The New Return From Department page is displayed.
- Select the department initiating the item returns by pressing the down arrow adjacent to the Return From Department field.
- Select the location for the return by pressing the down arrow adjacent to the Return To Location field.
- Select the date of return from the Return Date dropdown calendar.
- Select the reason for the return of the items from the Reason dropdown list.

You can add new reasons for returning the stock by pressing the Add icon against the Reason field.The Add new reason for Department Return requisition dialog is displayed.
- Enter the name for the reason in the Name field and press Add.

Sending
The Sending section allows you to dispatch items and remove assets from the inventory that may be damaged or out of warranty.
- On the Warehouse page, press Sending.
The Sending page is displayed.

How to Dispatch Items from the Warehouse
To dispatch items from the warehouse, follow the steps below.
- On the Sending page, press Dispatch.
The Dispatch page is displayed.
- Press the requisition row that you wish to dispatch the items.
The Dispatch page is displayed.
- Press Send Shipment.
The Send shipment dialog is displayed.
- Press Confirm.
The shipment saved notification is displayed.
How to Write Off Assets in the Warehouse
To write off assets in the warehouse that might be damaged, out of warranty, or for other various reasons, follow the steps below.
- On the Sending page, press Write Off.
The New Write Off page is displayed.
- Select the department of the items that you wish to write off by pressing the down arrow associated with the Department field.
- Select the location to write off the items by pressing the down arrow associated with the Take From location.
- Select the date of write-off of items from the Write Off Date dropdown calendar.
- Select the reason for the write-off from the Reason dropdown list.
- Enter a comment about the write-off reason in the Reason Comment field.
- Enter the name of the person to be referenced in the Refer To field.
- Enter any other information or comment about the write-off in the Comments field.
- Press the down arrow in the Item Name column to add items to write off.
The Items dropdown list is displayed.
- Check the box against the item you wish to write off.

The selected item(s) are added.
- Press the down arrow associated with the item Serial Number.
The Serial Numbers dropdown list is displayed.
- Check the box against the item serial number you wish to write off.

The selected serial number(s) are added.
- Press Approve to approve the write-off if you have the required user’s permission, Get Approval to send it for approval, or Save to save the order.
The corresponding Success notification is displayed.
