Every piece of saved data in the Control Panel has an audit trail. Each company, department, tax code, GL code, user, role, department, vendor, item, charge to account, and delivery location will have an audit trail. The audit trail tracks the history of updates to the data. Which user created the data and when it was originally created will be displayed in the audit trail. Details for the most recent update to the data will also be displayed.
The audit trail for a piece of data can be viewed from the Edit page for it. Press on the name of the Audit Trail section to open it (Figure 1).
