How do I free text/enter the phone number of a vendor in a new purchase order?
You can only free text the phone number of a vendor for a new purchase order if you have the user permission Can use free text for Vendors. By default users are not given this permission and it is recommended that vendor details are maintained in the vendor list instead of allowing free text.
To free text the phone number of a vendor in a new purchase order:
- Click the [New Order] menu option in the Main Menu.
- Enter the vendor phone in the Phone field. If you are unable to enter the phone number then you do not have necessary permissions.
