How do I free text/enter the address of a vendor for a new purchase order?
You can only free text the address of a vendor for a new purchase order if you have the user permission Can use free text for Vendors. By default users are not given this permission and it is recommended that vendor details are maintained in the vendor list instead of allowing free text.
To free text the vendor address you need to:
- Press the [New Order] menu option in the Main Menu.
- Enter the vendor address in the Address field. If you are unable to enter the address then you do not have the necessary permissions.
