How To Improve Email Delivery For Your PLANERGY Account

How To Improve Email Delivery For Your PLANERGY Account

PLANERGY sends POs on behalf of your company to your suppliers. Spam filters can be sensitive when an email server other than your company’s own server is sending emails on your behalf. Adding an SPF record for PLANERGY’s email server in your DNS records can help to improve the deliverability of these emails.

Setting up an SPF record

The steps you’ll take to set up an SPF record are different depending on your domain registrar. Here are the instructions for Bluehost, GoDaddy, Google Domains, Namecheap, Network Solutions, and 1&1.

To create or edit an SPF record to reference PLANERGY

Edit your domain’s DNS settings to add a TXT record. The steps vary depending on your domain registrar. You must have a TXT record for your SPF record to be validated.

PLANERGY recommends using the following SPF record:

v=spf1 a:mail.purchaseordercontrol.com ?all

Note: When recommended using ?all because it’s the least intrusive qualifier, but you can use the qualifier you are most comfortable with.

If you already have an SPF record set up for another purpose, all you have to do is add a reference to PLANERGY to the existing record. You should only have one SPF record on your domain, and if you have multiple SPF records, it may cause email rejections or other issues.

Rather than having two separate records, you can add:

a:mail.purchaseordercontrol.com

To your current SPF record.
